ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL AND GOVERNANCE

A LASTING AND POSITIVE IMPACT

The world is impatient for change and decarbonisation isn’t happening quickly enough.  We are determined to have a positive impact on climate change and are resolute in helping build and maintain relationships in the communities we work and live. Humanity cannot reverse the damage that has been done but we can help eradicate the emissions that are contributing to the ongoing environmental crisis. To do this, our solution-orientated work focuses on collaborating with suppliers who share our ethos, whilst also ensuring our production processes and materials are designed with sustainability in mind.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Tevva is committed to following Circular Economy principles. Our multi-project roadmap allows us to implement these changes and ensure sustainability continues to underpin everything we do. We are resolute in deploying production and consumption procedures that promote savings in natural resources. We are also working towards reducing single-use packaging for components, increasing our use of alternative materials (with lower environmental impact) and demanding better recyclability for materials and packaging. Ultimately, we strive for resource efficiency in everything we do to limit our impact on the environment.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Sustainability is part of our DNA and we insist on doing business with like-minded suppliers and contractors. That is why we have created our own Supplier Code of Conduct, which sets out our expectations for the way in which partners conduct their business and treat their employees, among other things.

Our social impact

As a growing business, we understand we have the potential to affect the communities and locations where we work. We are building and maintaining relationships with community groups and organisations, helping where we can, and contributing to civic life in all our shared locations.

The journey ahead

The road to Net Zero involves tough decisions and a steadfast commitment to do the right thing for the planet and each other. We are taking steps to assess our own carbon footprint with an aim of finalising our Net Zero roadmap by early 2023.
